(1991) As we commence autogenic relaxation, we say "My right arm is limp and heavy." Some may say, "But it isn't. It's tense."
Here we need to understand how culturally bound we are
to a principal which affects us with great consequences.
We tend to derive our conscious beliefs from our experience.
We fail to know or to understand that we derive our experience from our beliefs.

Re: Enclosed documents related to the Environmental Crisis
Call for a hearing
We convened a conference in May titled:
Environmental Crisis Options: ECOsystems.
The resolutions of that conference were distributed
to the heads of state of the G7 Economic Summit,
their finance ministers and environment ministers,
and to more than 3,000 members of the press, in June, 1988.
Those resolutions are in the Jakobstettel Declaration.

(1988) Sunday, Recent History and Announcement
Yesterday, December 4th, 1988, we adjourned the Fall Workshop
for the Ecology of Knowledge Network.
The workshop was hosted by DOMAIN ECOdynamics Research Foundation. The list of participants is appended.
The Fall Workshop is called the Viola Daniels Memorial Workshop,
named after the person who financially supported the first Fall workshop
for the Ecology of Knowledge Network.
The very first Fall meetings, in 1981, were titled:
A Global Agenda for Change and
The Global Information Environment .
The title of this conference was Orthic Nature .
That means that three Fall workshop themes have been hosted
by DOMAIN ECOdynamics.
The first two meetings were held back to back, in November of '87.
Orthic Nature was called
the second Fall Ecology of Knowledge Network Workshop,
not meaning the second workshop, but the second Fall.

Five Days
(1988) Five Days could seem much too long,
if the reasons for convening
and the ways of convening
were only guarded, intellectual,
idiosyncratic and idealistic.
But the reasons for convening are far more vital.
The ways of convening are far more relevant
and more practical.
We consider Environmental Crisis Options:
ECOsystems.

In a few weeks, we will host another workshop for the Ecology of Knowledge Network, an arm of the Association for the Study of Man Environment Relations, an affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. We hosted the Fall conferences for the same group, last November. We convened a conference in May titled: Environmental Crisis Options: ECOsystems. The resolutions of that conference were distributed to the heads of state of the G7 Economic Summit.

The Great Way of the Mind
Evolutions of Mind / Body / Spirit
(1992) I believe this is the very best situation we have ever had for any gathering.
And what a beautiful subject we have in front of us.
We are talking about the Great Way of the Mind and the Chariot.
And instead of talking about it in ordinary terms,
I think I'll take recourse to imagery,
and see if I can kind of "dream communicate it"
and you can remember your phrase about "the silence of the mind,
opening to more of who and what you are".

Human Life - Other Life Forms
(1989) Good morning.
Some years ago, I worked as a consultant to Boeing
on the Manned Orbiting Laboratory project.
We were seeking to support life, human life in space.
At that time, we tended to simply calculate
how much we needed of each substance and to make provision
to transport that quantity, by rocket, with the astronaut,
in what was called the life support module.

"How Big Is Your Wholeness"
(1992) To understand real healing, and the meditational skills
related to real healing, requires an understanding of life.
Biologists characterize life
by the functions:
reproduction
- life replicates
growth
- mostly by cell multiplication and differentiation, and
responsiveness
- requiring energy
for changes in position,
posture and state (doing and being).

(1991) Never make provision for yourself, (i.e. furnish a defined and separated self).
Allow the universe to make provision for you.
Submit yourself to the functions of the greater scheme.
We don't need to grasp, to hold, to reserve, to store, to be acquisitional.
We need to allow.

(1989) We experience our physiological, our biological processes
or biological functions through our hunger, our thirst,
our cravings, our needs.
We, at DOMAIN, say
that ecology is the discovered extension of physiology
to the environment.
Thirst involves seeking, identifying and drinking healthy water,
water which excludes aromas and tastes we know we shouldn't ingest.
