(1986) Bioreactions involve microbes. Microbes require nutrition.
The nutritional source affects both the selection of microbes
and the metabolism of the microbes related.
Systematically, it is necessary to provide
a sustained supply of nutrient waste,
with a specific range of properties,
in order for the seeded population selection
in any given bioreactor to metabolize
and reproduce effectively and efficiently.
This means that waste processing must divide the waste
according to composition and blend, or combine in terms
of the nutrient requirements
of the particular microbe community populations
set in any given bioreaction.
